BAA 21.2/B Pre-Release
Description: During the pre-release period, small businesses are permitted to make contact by e-mail with the appropriate Air Force personnel to ask technical questions about the topics. The topics will include contact information for the assigned topic author. Questions should be limited to specific information related to improving the understanding of a particular topic's requirements. Questions and answers deemed to be useful to all proposing firms will also be posted to the SBIR/STTR Interactive Topic Information System (SITIS) at https://www.dodsbirsttr.mil/submissions/login.

The 2021 Air Force SBIR Summit
Description: The Air Force Research Laboratory invites you to hear from companies in the Advanced Manufacturing and Sustainment Technology sector.

The Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards are making a big difference for companies in the defense and commercial markets. Investors have taken notice, witnessed by these defense programs now bringing in matching funds at a 4 to 1 ratio.

Hear from companies competing for Air Force SBIR/STTR awards and catch a glimpse of the technologies that may have the potential to provide game-changing capability for our future fighting force. 29 technologies will be represented, with $30 million in funding opportunity.

Air Force acquisition attendees may also spot a technology that completes their portfolio of technical needs, with potential, built-in funding pathways.

Once the BAA officially opens, no direct communication between small business and the Air Force topic authors/subject matter experts is permitted. This is the period where small businesses can submit their proposal to the solicitation(s) of interest.
